Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You’re an equine professional who is looking to add new tools to your toolbox to help horses heal on a deeper level.
  • You’re a horse owner who has exhausted every avenue to help your horse. You’ve been to all the lameness specialists, given all the latest supplements, and tried all the latest gadgets. Yet your horse is still not sound and not happy. You feel like you’re basically pulling at strings at this point.
  • You’ve heard me tell the countless stories of horses who weren’t open to receiving the help they needed and how I used my LISTEN Approach to facilitate their healing, and thought, “I wish I could do that!”
  • You’re open to alternative modalities to help your horse (or horses in your care). Yet, as a Christ-follower you’re also hesitant to learn from just anybody.

Here’s the good news. You can learn how to get any horse to be open to receiving help without forcing it on them.

That’s exactly why I use and teach Equine Craniosacral Therapy (ECST) as part of my LISTEN Approach.

If you’re new to ECST, you may not realize it is working with energy. Now that you're here and you've heard or seen what's possible, you're open to it. That's great!

Yet, if you’re a Christ-follower, you don’t want to learn ECST from just anyone.

Beyond that, before you learn the basics of ECST, there is a pre-cursor (pre-requisite) that most people skip. That’s exactly what you’ll learn in Preparing to Heal: Introduction to Christ-centered, Energy-based Equine Healing.

Healing Starts Here

Preparing to Heal: Introduction to Christ-centered, Energy-based Equine Healing is the foundation you need to begin using ECST with horses.

When you step into energy work, it is important to understand that all energy is not created equal.

While we are all energetic beings (Genesis 2:7), we have access to energy sources that are both Holy Spirit-derived or Satan-derived.

When I first started learning ECST, I didn’t have this understanding, and it shook me. But, when I altered what I was taught to focus on the Holy Spirit powering the sessions everything changed.

That’s why this course is designed to help you approach energy work with humility, discernment, and clear spiritual boundaries. So you won’t be left experimenting, guessing, or operating outside of God’s authority.

What to Expect

When you join Preparing to Heal, you’ll get immediate access to all three modules, videos, and downloadable PDFs, with access to all materials for 6 months.

  • Understand what energy is from a biblical perspective

  • Learn how to safely prepare yourself before engaging in any energy-based work

  • Generate and direct energy to use in healing with ECST

Preparing to Heal: Introduction to Christ-centered, Energy-based Equine Healing introduces the only Christ-centered approach to equine energy work.

Horse owners and professionals will understand what energy is, how to discern it, and how to work with it safely, so you can facilitate healing for horses with complex soundness or behavior issues.

If you want to correctly utilize ECST, this course is the critical preparation phase.

This is about discernment before technique.

If you’re a Christ-follower ready to learn how to approach energy work from a Scriptural perspective, I hope you’ll join me inside.

**** NOTE: This course is a required prerequisite for the Pillar 1 ECST course. Only students who have completed Preparing to Heal will be invited to join Pillar 1 ECST. Preparing to Heal is required not to limit access but to ensure every student enters Pillar 1 grounded, aligned, and spiritually prepared to work with energy responsibly.

Finding the Missing Tool

Dani's Story

“As a veterinarian certified in chiropractic, I have come across several cases that weren't "equipped" to receive chiropractic treatment. Patients that really needed something to bring them from sympathetic to parasympathetic. I felt that I was missing a "tool" in my toolbelt. I work closely with one of Amy's students who is proficient in Pillar 1. While working with her she was able to bring these horses to a state that allowed treatment and healing.

Being a veterinarian, I have a very linear, literature-based thought process, but when I saw the change and progress that was taking place in these horses, I knew there was something undeniable there.

As a follower of Jesus, the fact that Amy's workshop is Christ-based is what tipped the scale for me to take it. Sometimes in healing and animal relationships there are things that occur that have no other way of describing other than divine.

Amy's talent is no doubt God-given. Not only is she sharing a healing modality for the beautiful animals God has given us to tend to, but she is unwaveringly, but earnestly sharing the Gospel. I can't say enough wonderful things about the course and the skill set you will receive.

You can't see it, but you have to believe it. For me, this modality parallels the most important part of my life that I also can't see, but have faith and believe in.

Meet Your Instructor

Amy Williams, CECP, CEOP || LISTEN Approach Founder, Peak Performance & Wellness Solutions

From Engineer to Healer. I spent more than a decade and a half working as a consultant for various Civil Engineering firms, but found my true purpose and fulfillment to be in helping horses heal. In one word, I am a facilitator. A facilitator of healing to horses. By allowing God to work through me, I partner with the body to help it achieve deep healing and the balance it inherently wants to achieve.

This facilitation is the foundation of the LISTEN (Leading by Intuitive Stillness to Equus Neutral) Approach Equine Craniosacral, a Christ-centered approach to holistic equine care so that horses with mystery lameness, chronic pain, and behavioral issues experience healing from the inside out.

For more than 7 years, I’ve been using my LISTEN Approach to help horses heal.

From performance horses running barrels or working cattle to casual trail ride partners, I’ve been blessed to work with a variety of breeds, disciplines, and uses.

As my clients began asking more questions about the modalities I use, I began teaching workshops in person. Now, for the first time ever, I’m making my LISTEN Approach available online.

But, energy work is too important to teach quickly. So, we are starting with the first and most critical step: preparation

If you’d like to learn how to partner with God to facilitate healing for the horses in your life or practice, I invite you to join me in Preparing to Heal: Introduction to Christ-centered, Energy-based Equine Healing.

What you will learn in this introductory course is paramount to effectively (and safely) using energy to bring about healing.

See you inside!

Amy Williams, CECP, CEOP

If you’d say “That’s me!” to any of the following statements, Preparing to Heal was created for you:

  • I’m an equine practitioner (bodyworker, chiropractor, acupuncturist, etc.) who has had horses in my care I know would benefit from the modalities I offer — if only they would let me do it. It’s time I learn what Amy does so I can help even more horses.

  • Horse owners who are tired from endless appointments and specialists with no answer to their horses issues. From soundness to behavior issues, you know in your gut that what’s presenting on the outside is just a sign of what’s happening on the inside. You feel like you’ve tried everything at this point, and you’re open to whatever is going to help your horse.

  • You’ve been drawn to alternative methods of working with horses lately, but you’ve been resistant to energy-based healing because of your personal convictions and beliefs. It seems to work but how does that fit with your faith? You’re hopeful Amy has some answers to help you wade through your questions.

The common thread? You have an open-minded approach to horses, you’re willing to think outside the box, and you view the horse as an individual you want to have a relationship with.

If that’s you, I’d love to welcome you into Preparing to Heal: Introduction to Christ-centered, Energy-based Equine Healing.

It’s equally important to know if this course is not for you. Preparing to Heal is not for you if:

  • You're looking for a quick fix or technique without spiritual responsibility
  • You're uncomfortable approaching healing through a Christ-centered framework
  • You want to practice energy work without prayer, discernment, or submission to God

Are you ready to learn the foundation of using energy to bring about healing for horses?

From Skeptical to Trusting

Briana's Story

“I was a bit skeptical in the beginning because craniosacral therapy was difficult for me to wrap my brain around. I was intrigued when Amy shared her background prior to becoming a craniosacral practitioner and found her very relatable and trustworthy early in the workshop because of that background and growth story.

I must admit, though, in many ways Amy’s teaching style was challenging for me initially because she is very insistent that you learn to trust yourself. My black and white personality wanted to know if I was doing it right or wrong, and it took me some time to appreciate Amy’s steadfastness in supporting us while we developed our feel.

I can truthfully say I am very glad she approaches teaching and guiding students the way she does; it led me to access a part of myself I wasn’t used to accessing. Amy provides a solid foundation of understanding behind what you will be doing, which sets students up for long-term success.

What makes the LISTEN Approach unique?

Learn A Holistic & Scriptural Approach

First, unlike many equine bodywork professionals, I ride and compete on my own horses. Which means when I’m teaching, I can understand perspectives from both horse owners and professionals.
amy teaching class

As a practitioner, horse owner, and competitor, I look at horses from a holistic perspective. I believe in finding a balance and trusting the Lord to lead and guide us on how to support our horses.

While many different modalities can work together to bring out healing, sometimes there is dysfunction or deregulation that keeps a horse from being ready to accept the help they actually need.

That’s why the LISTEN Approach exists. We’re looking at the whole horse, not just what we see on the outside.

Second, and closely related, I believe in trusting God's blueprint for how He created the horse.

That informs how I approach bodywork, nutrition, hoof care, saddle fit, and riding. It's how we can help our horses to heal from the inside out.

It is that foundation of trusting God’s blueprint that makes what you will learn about ECST through my LISTEN Approach different than any other program you will find.

If you’d like to learn how to partner with God to facilitate healing for the horses in your life or practice, I invite you to join me in Preparing to Heal: Introduction to Christ-centered, Energy-based Equine Healing.

What you will learn in this introductory course is the first and most important element of learning how to use energy to bring about healing.

If you’ve felt the tension between wanting to help your horse or horses in your care and wanting to honor your faith while exploring alternative modalities, this course was created for you.

Are you ready to approach healing while trusting in God’s design?

Your Questions Answered

  • Is energy-based equine healing biblical?

Scripture is clear that God is the source of all life and healing. In Preparing to Heal, we approach energy work through prayer, discernment, and submission to the Holy Spirit (not through techniques, rituals, or external power sources). This course is not about tapping into “energy” for its own sake. It is about understanding how God designed living beings and learning how to partner with Him, humbly and responsibly, as He brings healing.

  • How is this different from other energy healing or bodywork courses?

Most energy-based courses focus on technique first and often leave discernment and spiritual alignment out of the conversation entirely. Preparing to Heal reverses that order. Before any technique is taught, we focus on spiritual readiness, self-awareness, and biblical discernment so that energy work is approached safely, intentionally, and under God’s authority. This is what makes the LISTEN Approach fundamentally different.

  • Will I be practicing equine craniosacral therapy (ECST) in this course?

No. Preparing to Heal is the foundation that comes before hands-on ECST work. In this course, you will learn how to understand and discern energy, prepare yourself spiritually, and safely generate and direct energy. The physical practices of ECST begin in Pillar 1 of the LISTEN Approach, which students are invited into after completing this prerequisite.

  • Why is this course required before Pillar 1 ECST?

Because energy work is not something to approach casually. Preparing to Heal exists to ensure that every student entering Pillar 1 is grounded, aligned, and spiritually prepared. This protects the horse, the practitioner, and the integrity of the work itself. This prerequisite is not about limiting access; it is about stewarding responsibility.

  • I’m a Christ-follower, but I’ve been cautious or even uncomfortable with energy work. Is this course for me?

Yes! Especially if you’ve felt tension between your faith and your desire to help horses heal. This course was created specifically for believers who want to understand energy through a Scriptural lens, rather than borrowing frameworks that don’t align with their convictions. You will not be asked to abandon discernment or “just trust the process.” Instead, you’ll be invited to slow down, ask questions, and seek God’s guidance throughout.

  • Can this replace veterinary care or other professional modalities?

No. Preparing to Heal does not replace veterinary care, diagnostics, or professional treatment. The LISTEN Approach is designed to complement — not compete with — other modalities. Many students and professionals find that this work helps horses become more receptive to the care they already need, especially when nervous system dysregulation is present.

  • Do I need prior experience with bodywork or alternative therapies to take this course?

No prior experience is required. Preparing to Heal is suitable for both horse owners and equine professionals. All concepts are taught from the ground up, with an emphasis on understanding, discernment, and responsibility rather than technical mastery.

  • Is this course only for people pursuing certification?

No. While Preparing to Heal is required for students who wish to continue into Pillar 1 ECST and certification, many horse owners enroll simply to better understand their horses and approach healing from a Christ-centered perspective.

  • What happens after I complete this course?

After completing Preparing to Heal, students who feel called to continue will be invited to register for Pillar 1 of the LISTEN Approach, where hands-on equine craniosacral practices begin. There is no obligation to continue and no pressure to move faster than you feel led.
